A survey of 3666 children aged 6-16 years in the National Health and Nutrition survey in the United States are made in order to see the correlation between fat consumption by psychological and cognitive abilities of children. The survey was concluded, the total consumption of fat, whether saturated and unsaturated fats was not directly related to the psychological and cognitive child.
Consumption of polyunsaturated fat that directly benefit the child’s thinking ability. This is evident in children who consumed a high polyunsaturated fat actually has the ability to take a test memory and read with great satisfaction. Food sources rich in polyunsaturated fats are corn, salmon, and nuts.
